September 2024 Conferring Ceremonies

    The schedule of ceremonies for the September 2024 conferrings is published below. The Conferring Office will email all eligible graduates the details of their ceremony by Wednesday, 17th July. 

    Please read the Information Booklet below for more details on your ceremony.

    On the day, graduand registration for each ceremony will open:

    • 10:30 Ceremonies – from 09:30 to 10:00
    • 13:30 Ceremonies – from 12:30 to 13:00
    • 16:00 Ceremonies – from 15:00 to 15:30

    Late arrivals are not guaranteed a place in the graduate line-up. Each ceremony will last approximately one hour.

    Please note the following:
    Bachelor of Arts (Double Major) is divided by surname and will be conferred over two ceremonies on Tuesday, 3rd September (at 10:30 and 13:30).
    Bachelor of Arts (Single Major) is on Tuesday, 3rd September at 13:30.
    Bachelor of Arts (Major Minor) is on Tuesday, 3rd September at 16:00.

    Outstanding Fees for Graduation

    Please note that if you have an outstanding balance on your student account, you cannot graduate. Late payment of fees may also result in your name being omitted from the conferring booklet due to printing time constraints. 

    In order to attend the September 2024 ceremonies, all remaining fees on your student account must be cleared by Thursday, 1st August 2024. 
    (Depending on when the account is cleared, you may have to wait until the next scheduled conferring ceremonies before receiving your parchment)
