Ph.D. Position in Soft Matter and Biophysical Chemistry

Applications are invited for a funded (EU fees plus stipend) Ph.D. in the Soft Matter and Biophysical Chemistry research group in the Department of Chemistry at Maynooth University. The studentship is expected to begin in January 2017. The project will take place in the McManus research group and is based around the lab’s central theme; protein self-assembly. The successful candidate will be registered in the Department of Chemistry’s structured Ph.D. programme.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven and hard-working applicants with desire to contribute to a dynamic interdisciplinary research group. Applicants should have a first class or a 2:1 (or equivalent) undergraduate degree in Chemistry or Physics or a related field.
