Moodle 4.1 - Forthcoming Webinars Announced

    We have a number of TEL webinars scheduled in August to introduce staff to the new features in Moodle 4.1 and to support staff in preparing course pages for the new semester.
     
    The webinars will focus on course design essentials in Moodle 4.1 and cover the following areas:

    • New Moodle site features including the new look and feel, updated navigation, and dashboard customisation options.
    • New course page features including the new navigation features and course format options.
    • New activity and resource updates including gradebook, assignment, database and question bank enhancements.
    • Tools for teaching and learning - Completion tracking and activity restrictions.

     
    Please note that registration is required and that there is maximum of 10 participants per session.

    • Moodle Test Course Spaces for 2023-24: Within one day of your first login to the upgraded Moodle site, a test course space for 2023-24 will automatically appear on the Course Overview block for you. 
    • New Moodle Staff Help Page: Our Moodle guides for staff have been updated to guide you through the updates and new features in Moodle 4.1.
