The Writing Centre will host a workshop on 'Writing in the Disciplines' on campus on the 26th of August from 10.00 a.m. until 12.00 p.m. followed by a light lunch. The event will take place in the Phoenix Seminar Room and registration will begin with tea/coffee at 9.30 a.m.
The facilitator of the workshop is Dr Rachel Riedner, Associate Professor of Writing and Women's Studies, Director of Writing in the Disciplines, George Washington University, USA. The session will provide an introduction to WID and practice based WID case studies from George Washington University (United States).
All are welcome and the event is free of charge but places will be strictly limited.
