Classics and Classicists in the First World War Conference

Professor David Scourfield has been invited to deliver one of three keynote lectures at the conference on ‘Classics and Classicists in the First World War’ to be held at the University of Leeds from 8 to 10 April 2014.  The conference forms part of Leeds University’s ‘Legacies of War’ project, marking the centenary of the First World War.  Professor Scourfield will be speaking on ‘Classical In/stabilities: Virginia Woolf, Ford Madox Ford, and the Great War’.  The full programme may be found at
