Faculty of Arts – An Foras Feasa Visiting Fellows

Dr Ross Woods (January 2013). Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Dr Woods will share the findings of his research on Spanish fiction with the Department of Spanish.

Professor Raquel Merino. (2011-12). Universidad del País Vasco. Professor Merino collaborated with Dr Catherine O’Leary, gave a paper on her research on translation and censorship at the SMLLC research seminar series, and participated in the Symposium on Censorship and Cultural Control.

Professor Juan Álvaro Echeverri. (March 2011). Department of Anthropology, Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Professor Echeverri visited Maynooth University to collaborate with Dr Catherine O’Leary from the Department of Spanish and Dr Chandana Mathur from the Department of Anthropology and to participate in the symposium, Genocide 101: The Atrocities of the Amazon Rubber Boom, Roger Casement's Putumayo Journey,Contemporary Cultural Representations Thereof
