    Crucial Conversations: Exploring Perspectives regarding Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) in Irish Primary Schools

    The free, in-person conference on Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) in Irish primary schools will be held at Maynooth University, Kildare, on Monday, 11th November 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm (registration and refreshments at 9:30 am). The event, designed for educators, parents, researchers, policymakers, and students, promotes dialogue and problem-solving through interactive activities, including a learning café and scenario exploration. International expert Dr. Margarita Gerouki will facilitate the conference.

    Keynote by Professor Iram Siraj

    Maynooth University is hosting a special event for early years practitioners on Saturday, 9th November 2024, from 10:30 to 14:30. The day will feature a keynote address by Professor Iram Siraj on relational and intentional pedagogy for supporting young children's development, along with practical workshops to enhance professional skills.

Join Professor of Education Sasha Sidorkin, Dean of Sacramento State University in the USA, Dr Leah O’Toole of the Froebel Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education, Maynooth University and Professor of Education Merete Moe of Queen Maud University in Norway as they discuss this.
