Title: "Why is it Wednesday, November 8th 2023, 13:00:00 UTC?"
Abstract: There are lots of profound questions about time arising from physics,philosophy and psychology. This talk doesn't answer any of them. Instead we're going to answer the question "What time is it and why?" and see why we have years, months, days and seconds. To get to the answer we'll have to meet the stars, Roman emperors, a Pope, a judge, and some people who did their measurements too carefully.
