Maynooth Green Campus took the NTA "smarter travel workplaces" Step Challenge to Maynooth University drawing over 80 enthusiastic and active staff members.
The Challenge saw 17 teams of between 4-6 members each, count their steps from 26 February to 23 March 2018. This initiative generated lively competition as some departments had more than one team.
The Chemistry Comets came out as winners of the Step Challenge with 357,835 steps.
Hot on their heels were The Christopher Walken Club (Mathematics and Statistics dept) with 341,314 steps.
We congratulate all teams involved in this challenge - we got people moving and most continue to keep active to reap the far reaching benefits of exercise.
