    The Law and Biomedicine Colloquium organised by the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah hosts lectures from distinguished scholars, as well as leaders in legal practice in the law and the biosciences fields. It brings together scholars, practitioners in the community, law students, and law faculty to discuss complex topics in the biosciences field.

    Edoardo Celeste presented on Artificial Intelligence and EU Digital Sovereignty Strategies hosted by School of Law and Criminology.

    This paper analyses to what extent EU digital sovereignty ambitions are driving the development of a regional AI strategy. In particular, it assesses whether the goal of achieving a form of digital independence in the AI sector may lead to protectionist effects that are at odds with the EU's traditional position in international relations.

    Dr Bríd Ní Ghráinne, appeared Raidio na Gaeltachta to discuss the legal aspects of the ceasefire in Gaza

    Dr Ní Ghráinne was interviewed by Máirín Ní Ghadhra focusing on the legal aspects of the ceasefire in Gaza, specifically to what extent the agreement was binding and the role of international law if either party failed to uphold it.

    Dr John Morrison - Law

    Dr John Morrison has recently been appointed as the new co-editor of ‘Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression’ Journal

    The journal addresses the complex causation and effects of terrorist activity by bringing together timely, scientifically and theoretically sound papers addressing terrorism from a behavioral science perspective.
