Dr Julie Rodgers awarded prestigious Flaherty Scholarship
Dr Julie Rodgers, French Studies, SMLLC has been awarded a prestigious Flaherty scholarship for her research on Indigenous Quebec Women Writers. The award will facilitate a research trip to Quebec where Dr Rodgers will be hosted by the Université de Sherbrooke.

Exhibition and Artists Talk: ‘Eternity by the Stars’ by Clodagh Emoe - 7pm, Thursday 5 October 2019
Eternity by the Stars is an exhibition by artist Clodagh Emoe comprising of five film works; We Are and We Are Not, (2015), Mystical Anarchism (2009) and three new works, Wolf (2019), Eternity by the Stars, (2019) and Artist’s Talk (2019). The exhibition opens on Thursday 3rd October with a reception and an artist’s talk in Iontas Seminar Room at 7pm.
