As part of Research Week, the Research Development Office is hosting MaynoothSparks 2021, with the theme: A new normal? Research in the post-covid world. This year, the event is open to all academic and research staff/Postdocs from any faculty. We are interested not only in how your own research @MU is relevant to the theme, but also (or instead!) your thoughts on how the nature of research has changed – or ought to – in the post-covid era.

Funding: Deadline for CHCI-Mellon Global Humanities Institutes 2023
CHCI Global Humanities Institutes are multi-year projects devoted to a research theme, method, practice, or problem in the humanities that would benefit directly from a sustained international and collaborative approach. The call for expressions of interest is still open, but we wanted to send a reminder that it will close in less than a week, on September 30, 2021.
