Registration Open for The 10th Celtic Linguistics Conference, 4–5 September.

Registration is now open for the 10th Celtic Linguistics Conference at Maynooth University (Tuesday 4th - Wednesday 5th September 2018). This two-day event is hosted by the Department of Early Irish and the ERC-funded Chronologicon Hibernicum project. Papers cover many aspects of Celtic Linguistics, including Old Irish etymologies, cross-generational transmission of Breton, Scottish Gaelic dialectology, Welsh syntax, computational linguistics and more. The two keynote lectures will be delivered by Prof. Jim McCloskey (University of California Santa Cruz) on syntax and sociolinguistics and by Dr. Aidan Doyle (University College Cork) on the future shape of the Irish language.
