Briefing on Kennedy Institute EU and International projects

Charles Flanagan, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade met with a Kennedy Institute delegation today headed by the Institute,s Executive Director, Peter Cassells, to bring the Minister up to date on the Institute's EU and International projects including-
- European Security and Defence ( ESDC) programmes encompassing the Building Integrity Course, CSDP Mediation Course and workshops on Conflict Analysis.
- The Horizon 2020 research project to improve the Effectiveness of Capabilities in EU conflict prevention.
- Proposals for linked initiatives with the Program on Negotiation (PON) at Harvard and the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the Senate.
- Programmes with Shades
- Projects with Loyalist/unionist communities in Northern Ireland
