MU EDI Calendar Academic Year 2023/24
This calendar has been developed to support MU staff and students to recognise and celebrate a variety of occasions throughout the Academic Year. It includes some UN Days in addition to commonly recognised visibility and pride days. This calendar does not provide an exhaustive list and there are many more days and celebrations that could be included in future calendars or lists. Please get in contact with MU EDI Office at equality@mu.ie if you would like to request a hardcopy or if you have any feedback or suggestions for occasions that should be marked in future.
Select Major Religious Observances
Members of the Maynooth University community observe many diverse religious holidays. Included in this calendar are the dates of select major religious holidays that will occur over the academic year. The MU EDI Office provides this list to support staff in being cognisant of various religious traditions when scheduling. There are many more religious traditions and holidays observed than are listed here.
Using the calendar
The calendar has been provided in three formats:
- A full 12-month EDI Calendar including key academic dates (hardcopies have been circulated to departmental offices)
- A 2 page flyer with the key dates
