The Chemistry Department is delighted to welcome Dr. Gearoid Cahill, European Director of Brewing Science and Head Distiller at the Pearse Lyons Distillery to our seminar series. Dr. Cahill will give a talk on the basics of whiskey distilling and a description of a number of operational aspects of distilling. All are welcome to attend.
