MU SexGen is a scholarly community supporting Maynooth University faculty, post-docs and students’ academic and career projects in the areas of sexualities and genders. The network provides valuable opportunities to develop interdisciplinary research collaborations and aims to support MU researchers, inviting guest speakers locally, nationally, and from abroad. Members meet periodically during the academic year to support scholarly writing on genders and sexualities, teaching and learning in these areas, and professional advice and development. The network coordinates and shares MU events and activities on sexualities and genders via its calendar of events and social media.
We welcome members from across the University, in all disciplines, academic staff and students researching in the areas of sexualities and genders.
Our Steering Committee members are:
Mercedes Carbayo-Abengozar (Spanish and Latin American Studies)
