Biography

Research Interests

Research interests lie in the area of work, inequality and political economy; state, society and governance; space, place and globalisation; information economy and society. Prof. Riain's current research is on the political economy of the Celtic Tiger, high tech regions, change in state and governance institutions, and the politics of high technology workplaces.
