Department of English's Dr Catherine Gander and Dr Rita Sakr delivering talks at collaborative symposium

Dr Catherine Gander and Dr Rita Sakr will be delivering talks at the 'Contemporary Literature: Politics and Aesthetics in Crisis' symposium at Queen’s University Belfast on Wednesday 11th December as part of a new collaborative network between the CRISES research centre (Maynooth) and the Centre for the Americas (QUB). 
 
Dr Gander will be delivering a talk called “Topographies of disorientation in the work of Carrie Mae Weems and Claudia Rankine”; Dr Sakr will be delivering a talk called  “Engaging an aesthetic and politics of more-than-human rights in Rawi Hage’s work”.
