More than one hundred and twenty delegates gathered in Renehan Hall on Friday, October 10th to attend the One Day Conference organised by the Departments of Sociology and English at Maynooth University on the theme: "Northern Ireland Twenty Years after the Ceasefire."
The programme was organised around a series of structured dialogues moderated by a chair and involving the audience in discussion.
The event culminated in the launch of the Maynooth University Northern Irish Studies Network and Special edition of Studies in Conflict and Terrorism edited by Colin Coulter (Maynooth University) and Peter Shirlow (Queen's University Belfast).
