Episode-2 of this series, broadcast on 17th August 2014, explores the role of Earth Observation and its use in mapping and monitoring severe weather events. NCG’s Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) was described as well as how it is being used to map out storm damage over forestry plantations in South West of Ireland.”
