    About

    Cecily joined MU as the DPO and FOI Officer in April 2023. 

    Cecily has worked in the health and education sectors for over 30 years. She has worked with FOI since it was introduced to the education sector. She has worked with data protection legislation since 1988 and full-time in the area since GDPR was introduced in 2018. She has managed several large GP practices, in business development and working with Occupational Health professionals. 

    In 2018, Cecily became a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She qualified as a Certified Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E). In 2022 she qualified as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).
