Design Student wins 1st prize at Cumulus Green 2024: Designing Healthy Future
Andrew Meehan, who graduated last year (2023-24), wins first prize for the international Cumulus Green 2024: Designing Healthy Future, the signature biennial student competition of the Cumulus Association of Design Schools that aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

MU partners on Dublin to Holyhead Green Corridor
The Green Corridor initiative, a collaboration between the ports of Dublin and Holyhead with leading ferry operators, Irish Ferries and Stena Line, and supported by the environmental consultancy Ricardo, Maynooth University and EDF, has received €143,621 in grant funding from the International Green Corridor Fund towards the total project investment.

'Global Education in Ireland: Critical Histories and Future Directions' has been published today. This open access book, edited by Eilish Dillon, Niamh Gaynor, Gerard McCann and Stephen McCloskey, brings together leading global education (GE) practitioners and academics to, for the first time, provide a history of GE in Ireland.
