Tom Campbell facilitates Comhlamh's First Wednesday panel discussion
“Civil Disobedience and Social Change” was the topic of debate at the Comhlamh First Wednesday event in October. Moderated by Tom Campbell, the discussion explored civil disobedience in the general sense and challenged preconceptions and limitations of the term. A significant theme arising in the discussion focused on Extinction Rebellion’s organising models and strategy relative to the perceived lack of politics in the context of the history and experience of Shell to Sea and other camapigns in Ireland.
