Noel Hynes, graduated from Maynooth University in Sociology and History in 2011. Eighty-seven years young, Noel has collaborated with Brian Willoughby to write a history of the Garda Siochana and the GAA. The book was launched in Copper Face Jacks in Dublin on May 18th. Noel has very fond memories of his years at Maynooth and continues to be an inspiration to all. Pictured below at the launch is Prof. Mary Corcoran and Noel Hynes.
