The Law Department hosted an excellent seminar to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Geneva Convention on April 8th, organised by Dr Amina Adanan and Dr Noelle Higgins. Prof Noelle Quenivet (University of the West of England), Prof Marko Milanovic (University of Nottingham) and Colonel Jerry Lane (Irish Defence Forces) discussed various aspects of these seminal instruments and the challenges in implementing them.
