Integrating Cultural Diversity in Higher Education (HE4u2)
 
Integrating Cultural Diversity in Higher Education (HE4u2) is an Erasmus + research project which hopes to integrate inclusive pedagogy into existing curricula to mediate obstacles for learners from ethnic and /or and culturally diverse backgrounds and to value their contribution to the intercultural dimension for all learners. The project involves the following partners: eucen, Université catholique de Louvain, National University of Ireland Maynooth, Turun Yliopisto, Aristotelio Panepistimio Thessalonikis, Universidade do Porto, Universitaet and Johannes Gutenberg Universitaet Mainz. Maynooth University is represented by Josephine Finn, Bernie Grummell and Camilla Fitzsimons from the Department of Adult and Community Education.
The objectives of HE4u2 are to:
·       Integrate the innovative approach in the curricula of three different disciplines per partner country (max of 21 disciplines) at different levels of Higher Education.
·       Create a set of Guidelines and Design a CPD course for HE staff, teachers and other support staff across the higher education system in selected partner institutions.
·      Write a Policy Paper and a set of Recommendations to impact on national and European policy agendas.
