Dr Vincent Power, Partner at A&L Goodbody delivered Guest Lecture

Dr Vincent Power, Partner at A&L Goodbody, specialising in EU law, EU and Irish competition/antitrust law, delivered a guest lecture to the LLB final year students on “Practice and Procedure” of  Competition Law. Dr. Power has advised on most of the leading competition, merger control, EU law, cartel, abuse of dominance, State aid, joint venture, pricing, refusal to supply, competition investigations, dawn raids, Competition Authority / CCPC and competition litigation cases in Ireland over the last 20 years.
The lecture was hosted within the module “Competition Law and State aid” taught by Dr. Emma McEvoy, and was co-organized by Dr. McEvoy (lecturer in Law) and Dr. Delia Ferri (Lecturer in Law and Irish coordinator for Maynooth University Department of Law of the international project “The role of National Judges in the Enforcement of State Aid Law: from theory to practice in the current EU law framework – NatJEUSAL” managed and led by prof. Bernardo Cortese of the University of Padova).
