Dr Claire Hamilton and Dr Louise Kennefick speak at European Society of Criminology Conference, Cardiff, 2017
Dr Louise Kennefick discussed the preliminary findings of a joint project under the European COST research network, entitled, Experiencing Offender Supervision in Europe: the Eurobarometer - Lessons from the Pilot Study.
Dr Claire Hamilton presented a paper, together with Dr Giulia Berlusconi, University of Surrey, entitled, Counterterrorism and Criminology: When the exception becomes the norm.
The 17th Conference of the ESC: Challenging ‘Crime’ and ‘Crime Control’ in Contemporary Europe was held in Cardiff, UK, from 13 to 16 September 2017.
The Conference attracted over 1,000 delegates and speakers from 60 countries. Dr Hamilton and Dr Kennefick both research and teach in the fields of criminal law, criminal justice and criminology at Maynooth University.
