Advocate General Eleanor Sharpston delivers 10th Anniversary Lecture

On 28 November, the European Court of Justice’s Advocate General Eleanor Sharpston delivered a distinguished lecture entitled ‘The European Project – Past, Present and Future’ to mark the 10th anniversary of the Law Department at Maynooth University. Delivered on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Lisbon Treaty, the lecture provided a thought-provoking and personal tour d’horizon from the beginnings of the European project and how it was shaped by law to the present and a glimpse into the future.
