Book Launch at the University of Birmingham: Conductors in Britain, 1870–1914 by Prof. Fiona M. Palmer

Fiona Palmer’s book Conductors in Britain, 1870–1914: Wielding the Baton at the Height of Empire will be launched by Prof. Trevor Herbert (Open University) on Wednesday 28 June 2017 at 18:15 (Bramall Building, University of Birmingham). The book launch is part of the Biennial Music in Nineteenth-Century Britain Conference. Fiona will also be giving a paper at the conference on the influential conductor Landon Ronald and his Birmingham Promenade Concerts (1905–14).
