The Faculty EDI Forum was created to provide and equivalent space as the Faculty Committee for Research and the Faculty Committee for Teaching and Learning. In keeping with EDI values and principles and in order to drive cultural change for inclusion, instead of a committee structure it was drawn up as a Forum with open membership to all in the Faculty.

The Faculty EDI Forum works to Chatham House rules, and is a safe, respectful, inclusive, and non-hierarchical space in which to raise and discuss EDI issues, concerns, and ideas. The points raised in the EDI Forum will be communicated in the EDI Forum Report as part of the EDI Standing Item at the following Faculty meeting.
