On 22 March 2017, Fr Patrick Devine, founder of the Shalom Center for Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation in Nairobi, Kenya, gave a lecture on “Inter-Ethnic Conflict Transformation Methods: Applications in Eastern Africa” at the Senator George J Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice in Queen's University Belfast. Fr. Devine spoke about conversion and the works of his Center in the region.
