On Wednesday 24 September, the Library presented €500 to Ian Gibson, of the Leprosy Mission Ireland. This money was donated by the University Community, following an ebola briefing organised by the Library and the Department of Applied Social Studies on 10 September. It will be used to kit out healthcare workers with protective clothing in Sierra Leone.
