Maiben Gilmartin Travelling Scholarship 2022

The inaugural winner of the Maiben Gilmartin Travelling Scholarship is Ben Casey.
Ben has just commenced his MA in Irish History and will use the scholarship to support his postgraduate research.
The Development and Alumni Relations Office and the Department of History acknowledge with proud and grateful thanks the legacy donation from an MU alum that has made this scholarship possible.

Maiben Gilmartin Travelling Scholarship
The Maiben Gilmartin Travelling Scholarship is awarded to the student who has written the best final-year essay in Art History in the Department of History at Maynooth University and submitted it for consideration for the Scholarship, who chooses to remain in the Department of History as a postgraduate student, to undertake research which engages with art as historical evidence. The award can be used to support the costs involved in undertaking postgraduate research
