We were delighted to take part once again in The Young Economist of the Year (YEOTY) at ATU Sligo on May 7. Dr Gerda Dewit was on hand to present MU's Special Award, this year focusing on the global theme of "Trade, FDI and Migration". Niall Hennessy and Hugo Griffin of St Andrews College Dublin, were the worthy winners for their research on The Effects of Immigration on the Irish Economy.
