Study Abroad in Singapore
This year, three students from MU Chinese Studies travelled to Singapore and registered at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for the year abroad programme. The students are studying Chinese Language and experiencing the vibrant culture of Singapore.

New Book Published by Faculty
A History of Competitive Gaming (Routledge 2022) studies the full history of competitive gaming from the 1970s to the 2010s against the background of the arrival of the electronic and computer age. It investigates how competitive gaming has grown into a new form of entertainment, a sport-like competition, a lucrative business and a unique cultural sensation.

Chinese Studies is offering a suite of new programmes in Chinese for Teaching at Post-Primary Level, for prospective teachers who would like to complete the subject-specific credits required to submit themselves for accreditation with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
