Fellowship: The Society of Fellows and Heyman Center for the Humanities (Columbia University)
The Society of Fellows in the Humanities at Columbia University invites applications for postdoctoral fellows in the humanities for the 2022-23 academic year. Fellowships are for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional years. Each Fellow will receive $65,000 and a $7,000 research allowance. Applications are due October 4, 2021.

For the month of September, the Network and Collaboration Support Fund 2021 and the Impact Through Dissemination Support Fund 2021 will be reviewed weekly, with a deadline of Thursday COB each week. Decisions on funding will be communicated by the following Tuesday.

Funding: 2021 IRC Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Irish Research Council has recently announced that the call for the 2021 Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship programme will be opening on 2nd September 2021. This programme aims to support suitably qualified applicants in any discipline to pursue a postdoctoral fellowship at an eligible higher education institution in Ireland. Fellows will hold a Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship. These fellowships can be held for either one or two years.

Funding: Kevin B. Nowlan Castletown Bursary 2021
This scholarship was established in 2017 in honour of the late Professor Kevin B. Nowlan, who chaired the Castletown Foundation for more than three decades. Its aim is to further research on the history, architecture, collections and estate of Castletown House in County Kildare.

Funding: North-South Research Programme (Shared Ireland Initiative)
This programme will specifically support collaborative research, innovation and development between individuals, research teams (in and between disciplines) as well as between higher education institutions on the island, up to and including support for all-island partnerships of scale. It will support proposals in and between any disciplines in science, medicine, engineering, technology, arts and humanities including areas of creative practice and social science. The deadline for submitting an application is 18th October 2021.
