The Maynooth University Partnership Committee was established in 2001 and plays an integral role in the development of the partnership process between staff, unions and management through the facilitation of effective dialogue and engagement.
In the spirit of past national partnership initiatives, such as Partnership 2000 and Sustaining Progress 2003, the Committee continues as part of the University management structure to assist the implementation of change in the University at local level by ensuring staff have a meaningful and recognised voice in University matters, including the development of organisation strategy.
Improvements in quality and efficiency within the University are also promoted and facilitated by the Committee, which strives to promote good industrial relations by recognising the common interests and responsibilities of staff, unions and management.
