MU research highlights barriers facing Traveller and Roma students
Traveller and Roma students continue to face persistent and systemic barriers in higher education, according to a new report launched today by Marian Harkin, Minister of State for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

Funded PhD in ICARUS
PhD studentship: Investigating the use of 20th Century reanalyses products to homogenize global land surface air temperature records The Department of Geography is offering a three-year funded PhD studentship to work with Professor Peter Thorne on the project below. This will start in September 2015, and the successful applicant will be based in the Department's high profile Irish Climate Analysis and Research UnitS (ICARUS please see icarus.nuim.ie).

Narrative Inquiry
The Second Irish Narrative Inquiry Conference took place in Maynooth University Thursday 19th and Friday 20th March 2015. An annual inter-institutional conference, this year’s event was hosted by Maynooth University in conjunction with IT Sligo and the National University of Ireland, Galway.
