Lero and Maynooth University School of Business Host Multi-Disciplinary Reverse Conference

Internationally recognised academics Iris Junglas (Florida State University), Garry Bruton (Texas Christian University), Kieran Conboy (NUI Galway) and Margaret White (Maynooth University) led a Reverse Conference hosted by Lero and the School of Business in Maynooth University. Maynooth University researchers from areas including MIS, Marketing, Strategy, Supply Chain Management, Ethics, Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour worked on the development of active research projects in the areas Smart Cities, Big Data, Fintech and Industry 4.0. Professor Peter McNamara, Head of the School of Business in Maynooth, described the event, organised by Lero and the School of Business as a wonderful example of the Liberal and Research Informed values of the School of Business in action.

Maynooth University Department of Law to host English police chief for public lecture

On the evening of December 3rd, 2018, the Maynooth University Department of Law have organised a public lecture, to be delivered by Mike Barton. Mr. Barton is Chief Constable of Durham Constabulary, one of 43 territorial police forces in England and Wales. His lecture will be entitled: ‘Developing a progressive, 21st century policing agenda’.
