On Friday, 11 November 2016, the School of Business’ EQ202 Equine Leisure and Tourism class went on a field trip to Naas Racecourse with their Lecturer Dr Jack Murphy.
Equine Leisure and Tourism is a second year module taken by students on the BBS Equine Business honours degree programme.
The module addresses topics such as the economic and social importance of tourism generally and in particular the Irish equine leisure & tourism industry. It also looks at the Irish equine leisure and tourism sector in the context of the international leisure and tourism industry.
