Audio engineer MA in Computer Music (2009)

Since graduating from Maynooth University Anthony Gibney has worked as an audio engineer, producer and musician covering a wide span of musical genres from Afrobeat to the avant-garde. From 2009 until 2012 he was based in New York and worked with Ray Davies (The Kinks), Janet Jackson and Chip Taylor and others in prestigious studios such as Electric Lady, Dubway and Thump Studios. He was also involved in the recording and mixing of bands (including 30 Seconds To Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Train and The Fray) for VH1 and iTunes. Anthony has also recorded audio for films such as Electoral Dysfunction and Sosúa: Make a Better World. Since returning to Ireland he has worked on many albums including the charity single Tiny Dancer – A Song for Lily Mae and as a producer on Alien Envoy's recent critically acclaimed album LOADS ("9/10", Hotpress).
