Warmest congratulations to Pádraic Fleming - a SPHeRE* scholar and member of the Centre for Mental Health and Community Research (CMHCR) in the Maynooth Department of Psychology - who was recently awarded his PhD with no amendments/corrections. Pádraic is also the first PhD candidate within the Department of Psychology to submit his thesis by publication. His research was funded by Genio and at the time of submission, Pádraic had two articles published in high impact peer-reviewed journals, as well as a systematic review protocol published by the Campbell Collaboration Library, and a fully completed draft of the final Campbell systematic review report. Pádraic’s thesis was entitled: “An evaluation of the development and implementation of individualised funding for people with a disability” and he was supervised by Professor Sinéad McGilloway (Director of the CMHCR) and Dr. Sarah Barry (Centre for Health Policy and Management, TCD). 
 
 
*SPHeRE (Structured Population and Health services Research Education) is a prestigious HRB-funded doctoral research programme founded and managed by the RCSI, TCD and UCC and recently extended to other higher education institutions in Ireland.
