The chemistry department would like to congratulate Muhib Ahmed from the Chemistry Department on recently receiving the IBICS inaugural postgraduate gold medal award 2019.
This award recognizes a PhD student who has distinguished themselves across a range of criteria throughout their PhD with a focus on research performance, achievements and impact in the field of medicinal and biological inorganic chemistry within the island of Ireland. We would like to congratulate Muhib and his supervisors Dr. Denise Rooney and Dr. Malachy McCann. The department would also like to congratulate one our of current postgraduates Stephen Barrett on his presentation at the awards.
