Over 400 delegates attended the 3rd annual 3U Leadership Symposium on Saturday last at Maynooth University. The conference was focused on ‘Leadership for Sustainable Communities’ and the keynote speaker was Emeritus Professor Richard Pring, University of Oxford with other contributions from Professor Sharon Todd, Maynooth University; Professor Finian Buckley, DCU; Professor Ciarán O’Boyle, RCSI; Professor Freddie Wood, Medical Council; Mr Tomás Ó Ruairc, Teaching Council.

The event celebrated the work of graduates from MSc programmes in Leadership at DCU School of Education Studies; DCU Business School (partnership programme with RCSI & Beaumont Hospital); PG Dip Educational Leadership (Tóraíocht) offered by the Department of Education, Maynooth University, in partnership with PDST; & RCSI (Institute of Leadership). The event was opened by Professor Philip Nolan, President of Maynooth University.
