Just hours after their course was voted Best New Course at the GradIreland Graduate Recruitment Awards 2016, the students from Maynooth University MSc in Design Innovation were presenting a palette of sparkling ideas to Enterprise Rent-a-Car. The presentation was part of a module called Consumer Innovation Adoption which centres around theories of diffusion of innovation and looks, specifically, at how organisations can develop and deliver their NPD ideas in a way designed to maximise consumer adoption. Speaking after the presentation, Leslee O’Halloran, head of HR for the group, said; ‘we are blown away by the creativity and insight behind these ideas - we’re excited to invite this team into our new offices and meet our Board’.
