Secondary School students of Chinese

The 2018 “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Irish Secondary School Students was held in the Kingsley Hotel, Cork on March 11, 2018. The competition was organized by UCC Confucius Institute. 13 secondary students from Confey Community College and Kishoge Community College and their Chinese language teachers from Maynooth University Confucius Classroom took part in the event. The competition was divided into three sections: Individual speech, talent show and Chinese culture quiz. It provided a great opportunity for the Irish students to practise their Chinese language and understand Chinese culture.
