Maynooth University Department of Chinese

The 2018 “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Irish College Students was held in the Gresham Hotel, Dublin on 7 April 2018. The competition was organized by UCD Confucius Institute. 4 students from Maynooth University and their Chinese language teachers took part in the event. The competition provided a great opportunity for Irish students to practise their language skills and to understand Chinese culture. Niclas Stenberg and Seik Yan Choong from Maynooth University won The Best Teamwork award. Amanda da Silva and Jessica Byrne from Chinese Studies also competed successfully.
