As part of the Institute’s commitment to the promotion of scholarship within the Faculty, applications were invited in September for the Early Career Researcher Scheme 2018 – 2019. This scheme is designed to foster the faculty’s research culture by providing funding for networking and for hosting academic events. It is envisaged that these grants, in time, will lead to applications for external funding.

We are delighted to announce the successful applicants for this first round of the scheme:

Dr. Berhard Bauer  - Department of Early Irish,
Dr. John Paul Newman - Department of History
Dr. James Fraser lecturer - Department of English
